Improve GIS data quality & efficiency with what3words

Presentation Outline:

What3words is a simple way to communicate any precise location. They have divided the world into 10 ft x 10 ft squares and assigned each one a unique identifier made of 3 words - a what3words address. This gives the precision of a GPS coordinate but makes it much easier to remember and communicate on a daily basis. Millions of people use what3words through their free mobile app and website (what3words.com) and their technology is integrated by businesses all over the world - emergency services, governments, utilities, car brands, construction and delivery companies and more. This presentation will cover how what3words can be built into GIS of all types and some of the key uses for their technology in organisations in Texas like Trinity River Authority and beyond.

About The Speakers:

James Cochrane sits in the Partnerships team at what3words and looks after GIS, Infrastructure and Utility partners in North America & the United Kingdom.
